Barb D’Arpino is a professional wildlife photographer from Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada. She has always been a lover of photography but only left her corporate job five years ago in order to make a go at it as a career. Story Behind: It had been a long day, I had been out all day photographing at the local marsh and I was hungry with a capital “H”. Dinner was in front of me and it looked delicious, I was just about to dig in when a swift movement in the garden caught my eye. Out of curiosity, I peeked a little in that direction to find that it was cute little Eleanor. Eleanor is an Eastern Chipmunk who has lived in a burrow in our backyard for four years and our family considers her a family member now, like how most people have dogs or cats.
