Natural Dyeing with Curly Dock Seeds
It’s not uncommon to go for a winter walk, and see fluttering brown stalks of dock seeds poking bravely up out of the snow, like flags. These are sturdy, sturdy plants. They're also good for extracting a natural brown dye, which has a soft rose shade to it. It's a lovely color, and while there are a few tricks to getting a good warm shade, it's really easy once you know how. I'll walk you through it!
