Hello! This collage DIY photo is from my most favorite post on this blog. I got a request if I could make more of a step-by-step instructions of these Maleficent horns. Equipment list // Utstyrsliste What I bought // Hva jeg kjøpte inn - Tissue Paper $3 // Silkepapir 24 kr (Panduro) - Hair hoop $3 // Hårbøyle 24 kr (Panduro) - Cardboard cups $2,45 // Pappkopper 20 kr (TGR) What I had at home // Hva jeg hadde hjemme - Black tape // Svart teip - Glue gun // Limpistol - Foil // Folie - Clip stocking // Klippet strømpe - Wire // Ståltråd - Nippers tool // Knipetang 1. · Make a hole in the bottom of the cardboard cups. · Cut the wire in the desired length and remember that the string is going to be curved. Better to make it to long and cut it later. · Make one end of the wire like a pigtail and the other straight. · Take the straight end through the cup and glue the tail inside of the cup, with the glue gun. 2. · Try on the hair hoop and deside were you want the horns to be placed. · Glue the cups on the desired place. 3. · Find the desired lenght of the wire. The lenght of the wire is going to be the lenght of the horns. · Make the desired bend of the wire. 4. · Use food foil to make the horns. · I curled the foil around the wire until I got the desired thickness of the horns. · I used black tape to make sure the foil would stay in place on the cup. · The wire makes it easier to shape the horns afterwards and to hold the shape better. 5. · Use the black tape to cover the whole thing. Round and round to make a nice texture and finish. 6. · I ensembled the headgear on my head. Starting with tissue paper and fasten that with stright bobbi pins on the stocking. · Then covered the tissue paper with black tape and I tried to made sharpe edges to get nice details. · Then took on the horns and covered the hair hoop with more black tape. · See how I ensembled it on the video below: 7. · You have to be careful when you take the maleficent head piece off. I started in the back and loosened the straight bobbi pins from the stocking. · It loosened surprisingly well and held the head shape good. · Now I can use it again, but I have to use more black tape on the edges toward my face to make sure it stays put. Hope you like this kind of post! This post is on english since this request was on english. Please give me a feedback if you want me to write more on english and make more DIY posts. Have a Happy Halloween! -Seline
