Wall sit squat exercise is helpful if you have pain in the knee joint or the quadricep tendon. It helps improve strength, joint stability and helps decrease pain. Begin by squatting to a level that you feel comfortable with and try to hold 20 to 30 seconds. You can rest 2 to 3 minutes and then repeat 3 to 5 times again. I am a realist, not everyone is going to workout 4-6x per week, have perfect sleep hygiene, stay dynamic throughout their entire day, work on their mobility for 30+ minutes a day, meditate and fuel their body perfectlyโ€ฆ โ€ฆ but everyone can take a few minutes a day to move! It doesnโ€™t require a lot of equipment (if any) or space, it just takes some intension! I love this exercise, I do it every hour or so as it provides great motion throughout the spine, recruitment of most of the upper body posterior chain musculature, and stretches the low back/glute areas.
