Kepler-452b, the first near-Earth-size world to be found in the habitable zone of star that is similar to our sun. It is about 60 percent larger than Earth, with about 5 times the mass and twice the surface gravity. Kepler-452b orbits its star, a G2-type star like our own Sun, every 385 days. It lies about 1,400 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus.
