The male gaze doesn’t disappear when women teach women about sexuality. It often just gets more sophisticated. I’m not writing this to judge anyone working in spiritual sexuality spaces. I’ve been in those rooms. I’ve taught in adjacent spaces. I know the genuine intention, the real healing, the sacred work happening there. They can be life changing and offer so much soul healing.
