Scanning the motifs was the next part of my process, and image tracing them in Adobe Illustrator. The benefit of image tracing is that the images become vectorized, which makes them scaleable to any size without pixelization. I feel like after a year of using the program, it is feeling more and more comfortable to create.

The next part of my process was using a lightboard and fine tipped pen to ink each of the elements. This part of the process happened while I was camping next to a beautiful lake! This part of the process truly was mediative. 💕🌄🖌️
